The pairing had earlier scored 79 in their first run and finished the day on 165 points.
Mr McGlashan and Ice were the only open team to better their first-round score.
Geoff Elmar and Dunorlan Rip scored 75 and 62 for their two runs, to score 137 points and second place.
Third place went to Meander Valley Working Dog Club secretary Martin Waddingham and Waterlea Cathy, on 77 and 53, with Deloraine handler Malcolm Taylor and Nell three points further back in fourth, with rounds of 74 and 53.
Mr Waddingham said that the sheep were well behaved, but still challenging and scores were not very high.
"At least the weather was kind to us and the Meander community all came down to watch and have lunch," he said.
Mary Southeran won the novice final with Zero and scores of 73 and 42 as well as finishing first, second and third in the improver class.
The Meander trial was part of the Coprice Champion of Champions series which will see a trial at the Hobart Show this week, a trial at Deloraine and Campbell Town in November and the final trial at Exeter on December 6 and 7.
