Fire brigades are fighting two bushfires at Rocky Cape on Tasmania's' North-West Coast. One fire has a "watch-and-act" warning and is putting communities at Rocky Cape and Sisters Beach at high risk now.

Conditions are changing and people are urged to start taking action now to protect themselves and others .
The fire, which is about 25 kilometres west of Wynyard, is out of control and may spit embers, smoke and ash on to the surrounding areas.
The Tasmanian Fire Service has told people to be ready to evacuate if they are not prepared.
If you don't live near Rocky Cape and Sisters Beach, stay away, the service says.
The other fire which is at the "advice" level at Detention River, Crayfish Creek And Hellyer Beach is not causing an immediate threat but may impact localities with smoke.
Well prepared homes are defendable in these conditions, the service said.
If you are not prepared for a bushfire, think about leaving for a safe place if it gets more dangerous.

There are currently 18 bushfires across the state. The fires at Rocky Cape are the only ones attached with warning levels.
