However, there would not be a pair of socks in my drawer I wouldn't use to plug Jacqui Lambie's mouth for just five minutes.
The PUP Senator has been sending out what seems like daily media releases to give a fresh opinion on pretty much everything since she joined the Senate in July.
Recently they have been about her "ban the burqa" campaign, backing Woolworth's racist singlet and her admiration for stand-over Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Let's not mention her disastrous understanding of sharia law!
The opinionated senator doesn't give up and every time she speaks, it is as if she thinks her words need to be inflammatory for her to be noticed.
Senator Lambie giving her two cents' worth on everything began when she told the world she like "well-hung" and wealthy men.
The media is partly to blame for fuelling the Tasmanian by printing and airing everything she has to say.
They do so because it is controversial and it attracts viewers and readers - not because what she says is relevant or intellectual.
But for a senator to spruik sexism and racism is unimaginable and unethical.
Senator Lambie is in federal Parliament as a Tasmanian representative to inquire into policy and scrutinise the way laws and policies are administered.
Yet she is using it as her own little soapbox to express views that have squeak to do with Tasmania.
Her credibility is dwindling with every media release and minute of air time.
People will soon (if they already haven't) stop listening.
Senator Lambie should get back on track and start doing what the taxpayers (her employer) expect from an Australian senator.
The Ulverstone-born former military cop is just three months into her six-year term and is quickly becoming, if not already so, an embarrassment.
I cannot help but cringe every time she opens her mouth.
She is in danger of becoming a one-term wonder if she doesn't turn her attention to doing her job.
So please, Senator Lambie, before you and your press secretary send another release, make sure it is relevant and in line with your responsibilities.
