A record 550 participants competed at this year's event, running around Inveresk for a good cause.
Self-proclaimed winner of the under-12s 400 metre dash, five-year-old Oskar Winne said his Weetbix yesterday morning helped get him across the line.
"I ate four before the race," he said.
"Getting the medal was my favourite part. During the race my neck was getting really puffed out."
Event organisers Mel Ferrier and Tamara Webb said 12 months of hard work had gone into its success this year.
"It feels like we've had no sleep," Ms Webb said.
"We're rapt though."
Ms Ferrier said the event wasn't about winning, however.
"It's more about the participation," she said.
"We have kids, adults and people from all walks of life participating in the 6.4km run - including mums with prams and people in wheelchairs."
The event will continue into its fifth year in 2015.
