The festival will take place on Saturday, November 22 and the home brew competition will be sponsored by Iron House Brewery.
Beer enthusiasts and interested locals have been invited to submit their drop in one, two, or all of the six beer categories.
- Larger (Pale, Pilsner, Dark)
- Pale Ale (Australian, English, Bitter)
- IPA (APA, IPA, Imperial)
- Wheat (Wheat, Rye)
- Dark (Brown, Porter, Stout)
- Other (Fruit, Sour, Farmhouse, Belgian Style)
The winning brewer will have their own beer recipe bottled and marketed by Iron House Brewery.
The champion home brewer is then invited to launch and sell their special blend at next year's Food and Wine Festival.
There are also prizes for the runner-up.
