’Til The Wheels Fall Off is a 19-band fiesta that will spread itself across Launceston.
Friday at Club 54: Linc Le Fevre & The Insiders, Ceres, Speech Patterns, The Sugar Canes, Hounds of Hiroshima, Bennylava.
Saturday morning at Shots on Wax, from 11am: Acoustic session with Linc le Fevre, Tom Lanyon, Luke ‘Tommo’ Thomas. This is a free event.
Saturday afternoon at The Gunners Arms: Acoustic session with Jen Buxton, Ben David, Isaac Bowen, Georgia Maq, Bec Stevens.
Saturday night at Club 54: Luca Brasi, The Gifthorse, The Sinking Teeth, Outright, Knife Hands.

WHAT: Melbourne Bounce Tour.
WHEN: Saturday from 10pm.
WHERE: Hotel New York, Launceston.
COST: $10 before midnight.
The Melbourne Bounce Tour volume two is rolling into town, and will feature Chris Bullen and Who Killed Mickey, as well as Launceston’s Joycie, Charly Venn, and Ceej.

WHAT: Rock & Rodz.
WHEN: Sunday from 9am to 4pm.
WHERE: Longford Showgrounds, Longford.
COST: $10, free entry for under-16s.
Longford’s annual celebration of all things vintage is back - featuring a pre-1970s car show, the Miss Rock & Rodz pin-up competition, and a tattoo competition.
There’s also live music from Skooterz, Crazy Flatz, The Racoons and Jump & Jive.
All proceeds are donated to Camp Quality.
HOBART
WHAT: Damage October.
WHEN: Tomorrow from 8pm.
WHERE: Brisbane Hotel, Hobart.
COST: $12 or $10 for host lists.
Tassie’s alternative nightclub Damage is back for its October edition.
The night will feature Launceston’s Save The Clock Tower, De´parte, Zeolite, and The Absolution Sequence.
There’s a free drink on entry, $5 shots and DJs ’til late.

WHAT: Chaos and Destruction.
WHEN: Saturday from 8.30pm.
WHERE: Brisbane Hotel, Hobart.
COST: $4 a room.
Eight bands will play across The Brissie’s two rooms.
In the bar will be Lacerta, Create the Crayon, and Scoparia, and the bandroom will feature the likes of Suns Of Solemn, Roadkill, and Half An Earth.
