Darren Alexander, Hugh McKenzie and Ted Sands have also nominated for mayor, while the deputy mayor's position will be contested by Jim Cox, Tom Ellison, Danny Gibson, Alan Harris and Rob Soward.
The remaining alderman nominations for Launceston include Mandie Austin, Kyle Barrett, Thane Brady, Philippa Cassidy, Leon Cooper, Andrea Dawkins, Peter Elliott, Janie Finlay, Ruth Haw, Nick Jones, Robin McKendrick, Tony Peck, Krista Preece, Karina Stojansek, Emma Williams, and Simon Wood.
There are 476 individual candidates for the state's 29 local government areas (338 men and 138 women) in what will be the first vote to test the new 'all-in, all-out' reforms.
Across Tasmania, 91 candidates will stand for mayor and 143 candidates will stand for deputy mayor.
