CHRIS Tarrant was enjoying the feeling of winning his first senior premiership with North Launceston after yesterday's game as much as anyone else in a black-and-red jumper.

The 34-year-old former Collingwood and Fremantle player kicked four goals and played his role as he had done throughout the eight games he played this season.
"I feel amazing and it's been a fantastic day," Tarrant said.
"I couldn't be prouder of everyone and it's a great day for the club - to sit here and have a beer after winning a flag is a great feeling and I'll be celebrating tonight and will stick around for a couple of days."
Tarrant said he was happy with his game and worked his way into the contest after a quiet first quarter.
"I felt like I contributed and that's all you can ask for - everyone contributed and that's how it's been over the last month or so but I'm just so happy for the club after a bit of a dry spell.
"It means a lot to a lot of people."
Tarrant said he remained unsure about whether he would play again next season with business commitments but said if he decided to play, it would be with North Launceston.
"I don't know what is going on next year in terms of work but I'd love to play and if I play anywhere I will be playing here," he said.
"It's a fantastic club and the professionalism for such a developing group is really amazing so hopefully next year other players from outside will want to come and play for this club because it is only going to get stronger."
