It's a cool 15 degrees in Sydney for tonight's sudden death semi-final between the Bulldogs and Sea Eagles. Both sides are at full strength: Geoff Toovey has selected Daniel Harrison to play as hooker, while the Bulldogs are as listed. There is a lot of niggle between these clubs, thanks to the Des Hasler factor. Manly, apparently riven by internal dissent, will be keen to prove the doubters wrong, while Canterbury - frontunners earlier in the season - are desperate to prolong their campaign. This will be a cracker.

The majority of the crowd is decked out in blue and white. The reluctance of Manly fans to cross the bridge costs them every finals series.

Just 5m out, Cherry-Evans opens up the Bulldogs' defensive line with a jinking run but his flick pass at the death goes forward. That was close.
