It was one of the more bizarre fake punts attempts seen in college football. During an American Football match on Saturday between the Arkansas State University Red Wolves and Miami Hurricanes, a player acted dead on the field in an effort to distract the opposition.

A fake punt is when a team sets up to kick down field but the designated punter throws a forward pass like the quarterback.
On this occasion, Arkansas State's Booker Mays appeared instantly stunned before falling flat on his back. Unfortunately for Mays, his sudden death went unnoticed by all on the field and only left him open to a hit once he scrambled to his feet.
The acting prowess of the Arkansas State University Red Wolves wasn't much stronger than the performance on the field, with the team losing 41-20 to the Hurricanes.
Mays' performance received a better reception on social media after the game, with some users on Reddit and Twitter applauding him for his acting abilities.
I don't know about the Heisman, but Booker Mays definitely deserves the Oscar.
