"Fencing Across Farms: Working with neighbours using native animal fencing strategies for profitable Integrated Browsing Ani-mal Management" will be held at the Pyengana Hall, St Columba Falls Road, from 10am to 3pm.
NRM North's Alison Hugo said that lunch would be provided and a car pool would operate for planned site visits.
"Participants will hear about a 12 kilometre-long fence spanning several farms and a golf course at Ringarooma," Ms Hugo said.
"They will also see fences and browsing animal management on farms at Pyengana and find out about the effectiveness and economics of wildlife management options and critical issues for success with fencing from the Browsing Animal Management Program at DPIPWE."
RSVPs should be directed to Ms Hugo at admin@nrmnorth.org.au or on 63337777.
Browsing animal management information is available from Jonathon Knox at Jonathon.knox @DPIPWE.tas.gov.au or on 0417754590.
