Take, for example, the one reported this week near the city of Managua in Nicaragua, which left a crater measuring 12 metres across right next to the airport.
It seems to have left just that - a hole in the ground.
Have you ever wondered where on earth does it go after hitting the ground?
Not even any small pieces are left lying around.
It always seems to be a case of "there's a hole there, but not as we know it" in other words the "culprit" has vanished.
