Littlejohn and his coaching staff will make the trip to Bellerive Oval to do their homework on their prospective grand final opponents but the playing group has been given the day off and won't be required to attend because of the travelling.
``We don't have a preference for who we will play in the grand final,'' he said.
``We are happy just to be there and be one of the two that will be.
``Whoever does get there deserves to be there and we are happy to play any one and it's about making sure that we are prepared for whoever we come up against and put a plan in place to beat them.''
Littlejohn said North had stuck to its normal routine this week with recovery and a review on Monday followed by training Tuesday and Thursday as well as this morning with the aim of keeping the players fresh but not allowing them to lose touch.
He said their review of the second semi-final victory over Clarence had focused on the areas that are important in winning finals and educating their players on the finer details of what to do in those close situations.
``The feeling in the group has been really positive as it has for the past seven or eight weeks and there is a really good feeling around our footy club and the group is very tight-knit.
``They can have a joke with each other but when it's time to be serious, and that is driven by our leaders, they are really good and very professional about getting the job done and doing what they need to do.''
Littlejohn believes having a week off will help to freshen up his group after a pretty big run leading into and during finals.
``It helps to freshen up our couple of older boys up and mentally the finals can be taxing having to focus for so long and the games can go right down to the wire as we saw at the weekend.
``Mentally for our younger brigade who haven't been a part of finals it is not a bad thing to have that week off but at the same time teaching them that it is not a holiday and they need to stay focused on the task at hand and being ready when the time comes.''
