Ms Wilks said promoting this year's event would be a challenge in the follow up from its inaugural show, which benefited from the federal election.
She said a lack of through-traffic, due to voting, meant the group would have to work harder to get the message out.
The exhibition includes works developed throughout the year by group members and acts as a litmus test for their performance.
"I think we've experimented with out presentation styles," Ms Wilks said.
"Members are more exposed to different types of photography, just through mixing with members in other organisations."
She said their efforts would be up-marketed as they tweaked finer details from last year's successful exhibit. "We're just seeing what works," Ms Wilks said.
"It's not about making money, it's just about the exhibit, it works to build confidence in the members and allow the community to see what talent lies in the area."
