It would seem that some cyclists think that they own the roads these days.
On travelling back from Western Junction last week in the dark a cyclist was riding his bike along the airport road, upon my approach to the first roundabout on airport road this cyclist rode up on the outside of me and attempted to pass me whilst driving through the roundabout.
Luckily I saw him in the nick of time, however if he had been knocked from his bike guess who would have been blamed.
Yes cyclists are entitled to use our roads however if you drive through our city not only are they riding on the road but they will divert to the walkways on a wim and without any indication at all.
How many times when waiting at traffic lights do you see a cyclist ride between vehicles to get to the front of the line to just hold up the traffic and cause an unsafe situation when moving off.
