It's believed that TT-Line's sponsorship will cost between $1.3-$1.4 million per year, for two years.
TT-Line refused to comment when asked if the sponsorship exceeded $1 million per year.
It's understood it costs around $1.75 million per year, or $575,000 per game, for North Melbourne to play three games at Bellerive Oval.
RACT announced this year that they would discontinue their $250,000 per game sponsorship of North Melbourne.
Hobart City Council will pay $100,000 per game and it's understood that TT-Line will foot the remainder of the cost, with another major sponsor yet to be found.
