All workplaces have safety standards, and if these standards are not adhered to, then workers can be fined. Wearing of safety equipment such as helmets and high-visibility waistcoats are mandatory in dangerous environments such as industrial factories and forest harvesting operations.
Those entering such a site without respecting safety requirements could and should be fined.
In most workplaces, visitors must register with the site manager. This is a safety issue because people appearing unexpectedly can cause accidents to themselves or others.
If these laws were strengthened and policed, then protesters would also have to wear proper safety equipment and register with the site manager before they can legally enter a work place, just like everyone else . . . or face the consequences, just like everybody else.
