Detective Senior Constable Leah Adams said that four fires had been lit at two homes in Johnston Street between June 25 and August 16.
The fires caused significant damage to the properties. All were unoccupied at the time of the fires and all are being treated as suspicious.
Detectives are appealing for assistance from members of the community who may have observed any suspicious activity or people in the vicinity of Johnson Street, Moonah between these dates.
