FAITH Ranson has a purple briefcase, business cards and plenty to do.
There’s a lot to juggle when you’re a nine-year-old chief executive.
The enterprising girl behind Faithfully Yours, a business selling handmade earrings, headbands, badges and hair clips, explained her company grew from a Mother’s Day drive at Riverside Primary School.
The initiative was entirely her idea.
‘‘We gave some earrings and stuff to school and people have been asking for more,’’ the Grindelwald girl said.
‘‘I didn’t know it was going to take off.’’
Popular demand has seen Faithfully Yours expand to appearances at the Esk Market and Tassie Makers’ Market.
Faith’s designs can also be found at Trevallyn’s Shopfront and Tamar Valley Gourmet Foods at Riverside.
Some proceeds from the business have been used for a breast cancer charity and the City Mission.
Faith said her next savings goal would see her pay for a hotel room in Melbourne for herself and her assistant and mother, Tania, and pay off the bike she has on lay-by.
She encouraged more young people to seize opportunities and believe in themselves.
‘‘You can do anything,’’ she said.
