The awards are open to individuals, community groups, businesses, primary producers and school or youth groups, who have contributed to landcare in the NRM group's region.
NRM North chief executive James McKee said it was a pleasure to partner with Landcare Tasmania for the awards.
"We have hundreds of passionate people in the NRM North region who are dedicated to improving their local patch," Mr McKee said.
"These volunteers are a crucial in the management of our natural resources and we want to assist them any way we can, and also raise awareness of the fantastic work they do."
He said the national landcare movement had grown to more than 6000 organisations and more than 150 farming groups during its 25 years.
Landcare Tasmania executive officer Mark Ritchie said the groups were critical to achieving significant agricultural, environmental and social results.
"The last 25 years has shown what can be done when groups work together," Mr Ritchie said.
"These awards will celebrate their successes but also mobilise the next generation of community volunteers to continue to take up the challenge for the next 25 years." Awards for individual landcarer, community group, innovation in sustainable farm practices, junior landcare team, and indigenous landcare are available.
Entries are open until September 1. Winners will receive their awards at a Launceston function on September 26 after the NRM North annual meeting.
