That is the mantra of Launceston’s Northern Mental Health Expo this year.
Cornerstone Youth Services’ planning room was yesterday full of healthy cheer as expo proponents drew blueprints for the November event.
Not only is the organisation looking for stallholders interested in participating in the event, it has also opened registration for community groups who would like to be involved.
The expo will be the only one of its kind held in the North for Mental Health Week 2014, according to Cornerstone’s Alison Filgate.
It is the second expo conducted by the organisation, which has set a clear goal of ‘‘bigger and better’’ this year.
‘‘We had more than 40 stalls for the last one, so we want 60 this year,’’ Ms Filgate said.
‘‘There were rave reviews from last year, 200 people came through the door, so we’re aiming for 500 at this one.’’
A busking competition, free activities, a sausage sizzle, prizes, a kids corner and more will be some of the events to fill the Albert Hall venue.
Information will also be available regarding health and wellbeing, and ways to remain positive and safe.
For more information about the event, or to register interest as a stallholder, call Ms Filgate on 63353100.
