The Hawks currently sit in second on the AFL - locked on points with the Swans at the top – ahead of the clash with the Western Bulldogs at Aurora Stadium this Sunday.
Ten points proved the difference between the Hawks and Swans on the weekend, with local fans no doubt hoping Jarryd Roughead can reproduce his four-goal form against the Bulldogs in his 201st appearance for the home side.
The Hawks will run onto the field in Launceston off the back of two straight wins.
It will be a different story for the Bulldogs who currently languish in 14th place on the table after round 18.
Essendon was too strong for the Buldogs on July 20, in what was dubbed a ‘‘thriller’’ by the AFL.
The Bulldogs remain hopeful of an upset this Sunday, with coach Brendan McCartney telling the AFL: ‘‘We’re confident that our turn will come really soon,’’ after the side’s loss to Essendon.
