The only places that get lots of visitors are places such as Cradle Mountain that have facilities, accommodation and easy access.
They certainly aren't out there anywhere else.
Therefore, we need more developments, not less.
How do you define "greedy developers"?
If you mean, they want to make enough money to employ people to build, maintain and service the facilities and also make a profit for themselves - what is wrong with that?
Would you rather they took their investments offshore?
As for the "high standard" walks, you obviously haven't been out there lately.
Walks are being degraded and closed at a sad rate.
