IT'S not every day that I agree with Alderman Ted Sands, but I have to say he has it right this time. What a great opportunity it would be for Woolworths to open a Big W store at the soon to be closed Becks in the Boland Street precinct.

Kings Meadows was/is always going to be a nightmare.
As any person with commonsense knows, Kings Meadows is a dog's breakfast when it comes to travelling through and trying to shop there.
Well done, Alderman Sands, bring on Big W to the Boland Street precinct, let's have an alternative to Kmart and Shiploads, get some real competition happening and let us all get shopping.
