About 70 people turned up for the mid-year celebration, which saw a spread of turkey, ham, plum puddings and more.
Deloraine Bowls Club's Patsy Blair said the sophomore mid-year Christmas night featured entertainment, raffles, music and food.
"It went very well. Everyone enjoyed their meals so much," Mrs Blair said.
"We had Vivien Adams. She played some old-time tunes on her accordion; a few people got up and danced."
She said the night raised about $700 after costs, which would be used to maintain the club's grass bowling green and contribute to overhead expenses.
"We're talking about having it every year," Mrs Blair said.
"It helps the club make a bit of money as far as maintenance and gear is concerned.
"It's like any household - you've still got to make money as you go to keep it running."
She said planning was under way for a breast cancer fund-raising and awareness fun day in October. Raffle winners from the night were Phil Hawes, Kath Lewis and Brian Roles.
