After a short stint in South Australia, where he had 25 rides for just two minor placings, Yetimova was back in the winner's stall on Lord Farquaad in the Go The Pink Silks Maiden.
He brought the Gareth Horner-trained three-year-old down the outside rail to upset hot favourite Geegee's Clang.
``I went to South Australia for a bit of experience but I'm glad to be back,'' Yetimova said.
``How long I stay, I don't know but hopefully it will be for a while.''
Yetimova is apprenticed to Spreyton trainer Leon Wells and is yet to discuss his long-term future with his master.
``I still have five or six months of my apprenticeship to go so I will have to see what Leon has planned for me,'' the jockey said.
Yetimova has ridden 16 winners this season and is 12th on the jockeys' premiership.
He rode 25 winners last season and finished ninth.
Gareth Horner was quick to snap up Yetimova's services for Lord Farquaad on learning that the apprentice was heading back to Tasmania.
``The last time he returned from a holiday, his first ride back was for me and he won on Set For Tea,'' Horner recalled.
?ntsa?``So I booked him as soon as I found out he was available.''
?nteHorner said that Yetimova had ridden Lord Farquaad to instructions and it was ``a perfect ride''.
The trainer also has a lot of time for the horse.
``I've been very impressed by him,'' Horner said.
``He ran a good second here [in June] then produced another good run in Hobart when he got caught on a bad part of the track.
``Since his Launceston run, his heart score has improved considerably so the signs have been good.
``But he's only young and wasn't that long broken-in before he raced so he can have a spell now.''
Yetimova's fellow countryman Bulent Muhcu also produced a good ride to win the Class 2 Handicap on highly promising three-year-old Private Currency.
It completed a hat-trick for the Angela Brakey-trained gelding who has had only five starts.
Muhcu, who recently outrode his claim, is third on the jockeys' premiership with 51 wins.
