Two North-West Coast women suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash at Wynyard last night.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the junction of Saunders and Park streets just after 7pm last night.
Police say that a black Hyundai Getz hatch and a blue Ford Faclon utility were involved.
The crash caused significant damage to the driver's side of the Hyundai.
The driver and sole occupant of the Falcon - a 59-year-old Rosebery man - suffered minor injuries and was taken to the North-West Regional Hospital at Burnie for treatment.
The driver of the Hyundai - a 68-year-old Burnie woman - was also taken to the Burnie hospital in a serious but stable condition. Her front-seat passenger - a 71-year-old Ocean Vista woman - also received serious injuries. Her condition was listed as stable last night.
Investigations are continuing.
