A TripAdvisor certificate of excellence was awarded to the Longford estate in recognition of its standing as a significant international hospitality site.
Woolmers Foundation chairman Peter Rae said he was proud to see the site appreciated by its patrons.
"It is nice to know that visitors to Woolmers, who take the guided tour of the Archer family homestead, or who stay at the free-settler Colonial Cottages, are engaging with and appreciating our unique heritage story," Mr Rae said.
He said the site was one of 11 World Heritage-listed convict sites across Australia, including Port Arthur in the state's South.
"Our annual Festival of the Roses, held every November, is a great celebratory drawcard for Tasmanian families," Mr Rae said.
Woolmers general manager Damian Saunders said the festival experienced record attendance in 2013.
"(We) have plans to exceed that number this November 16," Mr Saunders said.
"Tourists from our state and visitors from interstate and overseas obviously find a visit very appealing and we appreciate the stream of compliments which have been made to TripAdvisor. It shows that we have broad appeal."
He said the estate's inaugural antiques fair, planned for November 7-9, would also help to increase visitation.
