The National Rural Advisory Council will conduct the review to ensure it is working effectively to support farmers and producers, Minister Joyce said.
Rural Financial Counselling Service chairman Geoff Fader, and executive officer Elizabeth Skirving will meet with NRAC representatives in Canberra to discuss the current service's various aspects including ongoing need, efficiency, effectiveness of delivery and future roles that the program may be able to deliver.
To assist Mr Fader and Ms Skirving, they have asked for readers to provide feedback through a survey being undertaken through PDF Management.
"As a free and confidential service, sometimes the importance and impact derived are undervalued, that's where the voice of the people becomes important," Ms Skirving said.
If you want to give support, you can also contact your local RFC, board member or office staff.
