EVERYTHING from Sylvanian families to space ships will be on display at the Launceston Scale Model Club swap meet on Sunday.
Organiser Tim Hudleston said collectors and onlookers alike were welcome at the event.
"Hopefully there's something for everyone. It might just start a passion for someone," he said.
Mr Hudleston, himself an avid collector of Dick Johnson die-cast models, likened models and miniatures to "big boy toys".
"We say the smaller the toy the more expensive and the older the boy," he said.
Mr Hudleston said the swap meet was a lead-up to the club's October expo. "Hopefully this is the first annual Launceston Scale Model Club swap meet," he said.
The Launceston Scale Model Club is hiring tables for $5 each. People who wish to sell out of their car or bring their own table will pay $2 each.
