The motion was driven by five councillors following controversial remarks made by Cr Cadart about residents of Triabunna.
The comments, published in this month's edition of The Monthly, have been labelled disappointing by the region's councillors.
Glamorgan Spring Bay Deputy Mayor Jenifer Crawford said she was unsure how next week's vote would fall.
"I don't know that you can defend the indefensible, but it will be interesting to hear what the discussion is," Cr Crawford said.
"Unfortunately, I think people have predetermined ideas."
Voting is expected to take place either next Monday or Tuesday.
