Man faces court on murder charge
A BRIDGEWATER man charged with a stabbing murder in the state's south appeared in Magistrate's Court in Hobart this morning.

Matthew James Linton, 34, is accused of the murder of St Marys man Sean Leslie Trigg.
Police allege he stabbed the 49-year-old to death in Bridgewater early on Friday morning.
Mr Linton has also been charged with assault for allegedly punching a woman in the face.
He did not enter pleas at this morning's court appearance.
The case has been adjourned until 9.15am on Thursday, July 10.
Mr Linton will remain remanded in custody until then.
