Sixteen years after his grandfather introduced him to the Devonport track, the Wynyard talent will take on the world's best from July 22 to 27.
Hayden, who has raced every state title since 1998, moved to Victoria two years ago to pursue his racing career.
He is already in Europe, where he has spent two months racing in Germany, Holland, Belgium, England, Denmark and France before heading to the world titles in Rotterdam.
Hayden finished eighth in England in 2002 and 17th in Perth a year later.
He is hoping to go to Cambodia next year to help develop the sport of BMX racing there.
