The home team is keeping the glory in Tasmania, defeating the NEAFL by 41 points.

Burnie's Jason  Laycock  and Western Storm's Bart McCulloch were the outstanding players for the day.

The final score: Tasmania 18.12 (120) to NEAFL's 11.13 (79). 

THREE-QUARTER TIME

Tasmania pulled clear of the NEAFL  in that quarter, kicking 5.6 to 1.4 to lead 14.9 (93) to 7.10 (52) at the final change.

James Charlesworth has kicked four for the home team, while Chris Dunne has three for the NEAFL.

Western Storm ruckman Bart McCulloch has been outstanding for the Map, forming a powerful partnership with Jason Laycock.

HALF TIME

The NEAFL  have fought back in its clash with Tasmania at Bellerive Oval, with two late goals to Chris Dunne cutting the margin to 15 points at the long break.

Tassie lead 9.3 (57) to 6.6 (42) at half-time, with James Charlesworth kicking two majors and big-man Jason Laycock a dominant figure for the Map.

Tasmania has made a flying start to its representative clash with the NEAL at Hobart's Bellerive Oval, leading by 20 points at quarter-time.

Clarence's James Charlesworth has two of Tasmania's 6.1 (37) with Chris Dunne and Phil Carse on the scoreboard for the visitors, who have kicked 2.5 (17).

Earlier, Tasmania's women's team went down to Queensland 17.10 (112) to 8.3 (51).
