A simple holiday was not enough - instead, the Rosevears family have packed up their lives and will today start a six-week odyssey through Australia, before heading internationally for about a year.
The catch? The children will continue school and parents Michelle and Simon will continue working.
Mr and Mrs Frost said their highly portable online businesses enabled them to work anywhere in the world.
The owners of Michon International and SMIK Web Design said travelling for a year while maintaining and improving operations would prove anything was possible with the world of online.
The pair will work mainly from iPhones and iPads, while children Ben, 12, Seb, 10, and 14-year-old Tash will maintain Instagram accounts and online journals from their tech devices.
Two days each week will be dedicated to work and school work.
``We were looking around doing our usual thing, and thought `what is it going on in our lives that we want to change?'?hs'' Mrs Frost said.
``We hadn't achieved everything we wanted to achieve, so we decided to go somewhere.''
The family is likely to visit Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, Spain, France and Italy, while the North American leg remains to be mapped.
``We plan to spend about a month in each country,'' Mrs Frost said. ``The kids can learn more on the road than they might at school.''
While excited, the family said they were likely to miss their friends and relatives from home.
It is a challenge they believe worth undertaking.
``The whole idea is to be different when we come back,'' Mr Frost said.
