ALL nine of the Western Storm and North Launceston players named in AFL Tasmania's 26-man squad earlier this week survived the cut after number were reduced to 23 following training at Aurora Stadium last night.

Western Storm's Jay Blackberry, Mitchell Hills, Bart McCulloch, Matt Hanson, Will Hanson, Thane Bardenhagen, as well as North Launceston's Taylor Whitford, Mitch Van den Berg and Andrew Cox-Goodyer are confirmed starters for the team to face the NEAFL, a side made up of the best from New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory not already on an AFL list.
The match at Bellerive Oval, will start at 2pm.
AFL Tasmania also confirmed the state women's team which will face Queensland in the curtain-raiser at 11.15am, with Launceston's Kiara Foley, Meagan Kiely, Chanette Thuringer and Angela Dickson named.
The captains of each side will be announced tomorrow.
