As Tony Abbott wrapped up meetings on Capitol Hill on Tuesday evening a political earthquake hit the building. An obscure Tea Party candidate beat the second-most powerful Republican in the building, house majority leader Eric Cantor, in a primary race for the November mid-term elections.
