Denison Greens MHA Cassy O'Connor has become the first member of the new parliament to be removed from the chamber.
Ms O'Connor will be allowed to return at noon.
Ms Archer gave all members a first and final warning for interjecting during this morning's question time.
Ms O'Connor called Braddon Liberal MHA Joan Rylah 'Dorothy Rylah' for asking a question to Attorney-General Vanessa Goodwin.
Dr Goodwin made her debut in the lower house today - after the Legislative Council granted permission for her to attend question time for an hour on Tuesdays.
As Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council Dr Goodwin must then return to the upper house.
