The home side took a 3-0 lead into the break, scoring three times in five minutes. Chris Wademan got the first, Steven Gulbrandson scored directly from a corner and Taylor Neilson tapped in a rebound.
Prospect worked its way back into the contest in the second half and went ahead when Trent Mitchell put away Anton La Palombara's cut back. However, Olympic held on for the win.
Launceston City got its first win of the season, clinching a dramatic 3-2 victory against Launceston United in the 90th minute.
United scored first through Stephen Lea before Kyle Zealley equalised. Lea got his second just before half-time to give United a 2-1 lead at the break.
City hit back through Jorge Nicholas midway, through the second half and Ricardo Gugliotti headed in a free kick in the last minute of play to give the home side its first three points.
Ulverstone continued its resurgence, beating Northern Rangers 4-1 and leapfrogging them into fourth place.
Scores were deadlocked at the break with a goal apiece to Ulverstone's Connor Meanie and Rangers' Mohammad Alkhazraj.
Meaney curled in a free kick after the restart to make it 2-1 before Chris Vaughn scored from a cut back and Josh Laing a header.
Devonport City played out a scoreless first half against Burnie United before substitute Billy Meldrum got the winner.
In the Victory League, Devonport City took a 1-0 lead into the break against Tilford Zebras after Michael Holden cut in from the left and shot.
The Strikers added their second three minutes after the interval, Holden providing the corner for Cory Vickers to head in at the back post, to run out 2-0 winners.
In the earlier match, Olympia were too strong for Kingbourgh Lions, beating the home side 4-2.
