Rain impacts motor cycle club's big day

ONLY about a dozen riders braved the cold and wet conditions at yesterday's Tasmanian Motor Cycle Club Symmons Plains ride day.

Ride day co-ordinator Rob Scott said that the club held monthly ride days to give motorcyclists the opportunity to improve their riding techniques and cornering.

``But there were only one or two road riders today, most who signed up were racers keen to get a bit of work done before the winter sets in,'' he said.
