Two hospitalised after East Coast crash
The driver - man in 30s - is being treated for spinal injuries and the young male passenger is being treated for chest injuries at the Launceston General Hospital.
The single-car crash occurred on the Tasman Highway on the state's East Coast just before 8am.
The two males had to be freed from the car by SES workers and taken to the St Helens District Hospital and later transferred by air to the LGH.
Police are continuing their investigation of the accident.
