Matthew John Lowe faced the Launceston Magistrates Court on Thursday on three counts of common assault.
He had earlier pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Defence solicitor Grant Tucker said the three complainants had been contacted, but all declined to make a formal complaint or statement to police.
He said the prosecution case was based on CCTV from a hotel.
Mr Tucker said his client was also ``good friends'' with two of the complainants.
Police prosecutor Michael Bonde confirmed that the three complainants had not given any formal complaint or statement to police.
He said that the CCTV footage would form part of the prosecution case.
Magistrate Reg Marron said he wanted to see the CCTV at Mr Lowe's next appearance on June 26.
A hearing is set down before a different magistrate on July 23.
