PEOPLE suffering mental health issues over Easter can still receive help, beyondblue chief executive Kate Carnell said yesterday.
The beyondblue Support Service will be staffed by mental health professionals who can help people feeling down or distressed.
``Major holidays such as Easter can trigger a range of emotions in people,'' she said.
``Most people really enjoy this time of year but some others are not so fortunate.
``For some people, spending time with their family over the break can be a very stressful experience.
``For others, the holiday can be a reminder of a loved one who has passed away or it can exacerbate financial strain.''
