A convoy of 47 trucks and 34 students left Launceston headed for Myrtle Park, where they enjoyed a fun-filled day of activities.
The truck run is organised by the Tasmanian Owners and Operators and raises money for the Ravenswood school, which supports students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Tasmanian Owners and Operators secretary Alf Waters said it was a fantastic day with plenty of donations.
``We usually donate about $5000 a year,'' Mr Water said.
``The highlight was having enough trucks to do the job.
``Because of the downturn in the industry that we have had in the last 12 months to two years, a lot of trucks have gone to Melbourne to be sold and we found that we would be scratching to do this year's run.''
This year's funds will be used to upgrade the school's playground and sensory room.
