A total of 68 teams and 585 players participated with 195 games played on the day and about 1400 people in attendance.
Age groups involved included under-12 through to under-17, with 11 NTNA clubs involved.
"It's been a round robin format with each team playing the others in their age division over the two weeks," NTNA junior convenor Peta Reitsema said.
"It's been a good day of netball and the weather has held off, which is a bonus."
The second big week of the Preseason Cup will be held on Saturday including the official opening ceremony and grand finals from 2pm.
