Less than a fortnight after adding the senior points race crown to her four junior world championships, the West Pine 21-year-old said she was delighted to be named in the long team for the track cycling in Glasgow from July 23 to August 3.
With no team pursuit on the program at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Cure would be seeking selection for the individual pursuit, points and scratch race.
She won bronze medals in both pursuits at Cali earlier this month before becoming just the second Australian to win a points race world title, taking a lap on most of the field before seeing off her rivals over the closing sprints.
Cure's gold was one of three for Australia which finished equal-first on the medal table.
