Pedley is one of Tasmania's best-performed middle-distance athletes and combines triathlons with her sporting pursuits.
The Devonport Run is a community-based event offering varying race distances to suit everyone.
This year organisers have reduced the entry costs for competitors to encourage participation and make the event attainable for everyone.
Cost of entry will vary from $7.50 for the 1km event to $28 for the the 10km race.
Action will get under way at 10am from Roundhouse Park on Victoria Parade with the 1km race followed at 10.30am by the 2.5km race, the 5km event starts at 11am and the 10km race at 11.30am.
Cash prizes will be offered for the first three placegetters home in the 10km run and the Fairbrother Corporate Cup will take place over the 5km and 10km distances giving businesses and workplaces the chance to enter and win.
