A 51-year-old man died in a car crash in Southern Tasmania yesterday.

Police released the details of the crash early this morning, which saw the Huon Highway closed for more than seven hours.
The single-vehicle crash occured about 3pm, south of Dover.
A 50-year-old man, also from Dover, was driving the early model grey Ford Fairlane sedan when he drove off the road on a closed right-hand corner.
The car slide along an embankment and rolled for about 70 metres.
The 51-year-old deceased was the only passenger in the car.
The driver was treated at the scene and he has since been chaged with dangerous driving causing death.
He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court today.
Crash investigator Constable Adam Hall would like to hear from any member of the public who may have seen the crash or the car beforehand.
