The Liberals today announced a $110 million package for road upgrades, which it would deliver if elected as a majority Hodgman government.
Last month, Labor announced to deliver $110 million in upgrades within five years.
The Liberals said roads around Tasmania would benefit from the funding, including Rokeby Main Road, Huon roads, Esk Main Road and the Murchison Highway.
All of this funding would be subject to an ''independent assessment by the new independent advisory body'' called Infrastructure Tasmania.
Liberals' and Labor's proposed funding for Rokeby Main Road clocks in at the same figure - $15 million.
