Adam Maxwell Cox, 34, appeared via video link.
He is yet to enter pleas to charges including aggravated sexual assault and drug trafficking - major offence.
Magistrate Simon Brown adjourned Mr Cox's matters to March 11.
Co-accused Mark Paul Phillips, 25, of Newstead, is yet to enter pleas to his charges, arising from the same incident, and will face court on March 14.
